Thank you for your kind words.
I am however, not down and depressed. My relationship with Jesus is strong. I cannot go a day without Him.
Nothing will take that away from me.

@Anonymous, if you are this disturbed go and get some help.

Left Behind, it sounds like Anonymous is a “runner”. You can see that his last comments are not really coherent. You have prayed and you have done and said all that you can.
This could be a Prank. I hope not but I think it is.

    Anonymous, find some help now.

Why the name calling and judgments? “Runner” “Disturbed”? Way to go in reaching out to someone who said they are hurting!
      Shame on you:-(

        Anonomous:

There is no name calling. But, people who are reaching out for solutions often find them.

If you are this emotionally upset over the election find someone like dolomite who you can identify with and help you.

You indicated being traumatized by the session to the point that you wanted to leave the church which is your choice. Good alternatives were suggested but you rejected them.

A runner is someone who wants to use a forum for disruptive purposes. I did not say that you are one and the term may have been too strong. I apologize.

But if you find that you are having difficulty coping with the election than seek out some help outside this forum.

Are you serious? Jesus took all the big and little rocks of hell thrown at Him, and he never gave up on HIS church. Yes, I have felt the way you have expressed it but I would hope that you would say, “Don’t give up Left Behind” as many on this blog have said.

Yes we could all crawl up into our personal tent and miss the climax when God will demonstrate the power of HIS church. It is Satan’s plan for us to let go.

In our meeting God did work and I admit that their were questiionable political forces at work that I disagreed with. But all the men in the PACK I truely love and wish for their success and well being. If something happen to any one of them my soul would hurt.

The election is over and we must heal and let God work through his newly appointed leader. I know him to be a good man. No one is perfect including Sam. But if we support him he can become the leader that God would have him to be.

Whatever you do, DON’T GIVE UP AND LEAVE THE CHURCH!

God is not finished with you yet.

    By the way…I’m Left Behind

      Left Behind,
      Your response is typical Adventist!
First you acted shocked, then you try to guilt me by saying Jesus did not leave the church.
      I am in spiritual pain!
I believe that I can be saved in God’s kingdom, without the church. In fact, staying in puts me in jeopardy of loosing my way. I have endured a lot of pain, in the Church, prior to Sunday’s meeting.
This is no longer the remnant church, in my humble opinion.
If my identity were to be made public, I guarantee you that I would be ostracized! I know what I am talking about, I have been around for awhile.
My heart is heavy even while I type. You have to admit: There is a lot of emotional and spiritual abuse in the church:-(

Yes I have experienced deep emotional anguish. I have never said that the Church is perfect. In Revelation, it talks about Jesus being in the mist of the candlesticks. I found that to mean that Jesus knowS the problems and the imperfection of the church.

I too would be otsracized and this is why I respect your choice to remain anonymous so you can say what you mean and feel.

When we feel this way we have to sometimes take a step backwards and explore the real reasons behind our feelings. Seek out some professional advice or someone you can really trust. Talking really helps especially from those who care about you the most.

What I am saying is, just don’t give up and listen to God’s Spirit as I have had to do.

MY GOD IN HEAVEN GO TO THIS PERSON RIGHT NOW AND COMFORT HIM. LET HIM KNOW THAT YOU CARE ABOUT HIS CONCERNS AND DISAPPOINTMENTS. IF MY WORDS ARE NOT ENOUGH SEND SOMEONE ELSE, BUT KEEP IN YOUR EVERLASTING ARMS. GIVE HIM VICTORY TODAY. IN JESUS’ NAME AMEN!

      • @Anonymous I will continue to pray for you. I also suggest that you see a minister or spiritual leader to discuss this issue. I don’t think that Left Behind was trying to dimenish your pain. I hope that you will find some comfort and strength in that we are ALL human. Any process designed by humans will always have flaws we cannot allow it to effect our spirituality. God bless you on this journey.

How in the world did they pull off bringing Billy Cox name out? If he was voted in, I was going to leave this church!
I would have lost all faith in the election process.
What type of people did we have on the nominating committee? Surely not very smart:-(

Anonymous: You have good perception about the outcome if it happened.
NEVER THINK OF LEAVING THE CHURCH OR THE CONFERENCE.

If you do that than the opposition has won by taking control of our minds. Never give your mind to anyone.

I think that the UNION should step in and severly admonish the Pack and its leader for the selfish political campaign. It brought out the worse. There entire strategy was to bring the pastor here so that they could end up as vice presidents I am told and (or) keep their jobs as they have done. It does make you sick

      Keep the faith baby!

I am not leaving my relationship with God, but the church: As it is right now, it is killing me spiritually. How can we say that we will let God lead the process of picking a leader to get us out of the abusive situation we were in, and pick another regime to abuse us more? I have not seen God in this process in all the years I have watched it. Therefore as it stands now, I am out. The election of Cox for president rocked me. God is NOT in the hearts of these individuals who make the selection. Greed, avarice, aggrandizement, to name a few, are what rule these elections. My faith in God is strong, the church I do not need.

      • @anonymous do not let this shake you for God is at the center of all things always. God provides us with the minds to make decisions in line with His will. It is when we ignore His will to serve our own purpose, just like the devotional I posted two months ago about Abner, that we lose our way. Do not let man steer you away from the truth God’s remnant church.

I know its tough. But it was the right thing to do. I predict they will try to get Frank to come out next, and when that fails, the Prez will try to force the hand of the NOM Committee. They all have to go, becuase tranparency is so important.

Stay to task and certainly the SWRC will get the Leader they Deserve.
